Hood River County School District (HRCSD) is excited to welcome new and returning families for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The school district’s online portal is now open, providing a convenient and secure way for parents and guardians to complete the process from home or on a mobile device.

To ensure a smooth process, HRCSD distinguishes between enrollment for students who were not enrolled in the school district during the 2025-26 school year and registration for students who attended a district school last year.

Enrollment and Registration Pathways

Brand New Families to HRCSD

(This option is ONLY for families and students who have never registered or attended an HRCSD school in prior years.)

• How to register: Visit the online portal, click More Options, and select Create a New Account. Follow the email prompts to set a password and begin the 2026-27 New Student Enrollment application.

Returning and Existing HRCSD Families

(This option is for families currently in the district or families who have ever had a child registered with HRCSD in past years, including incoming kindergarten siblings, students returning after time away, or students transitioning back from private school/homeschool.)

• Existing ParentVUE account: Log in to your existing ParentVUE Account (where contact information will automatically pre-fill) and select 2026-27 Registration/Enrollment.
• If you need an account activated: If you or a family member registered with HRCSD in a previous year but do not have an active login, please do not create a new account. Contact your neighborhood school to request a ParentVUE activation key.

Required Documentation for New Enrollments

Parents and guardians completing a new student enrollment will need to provide the following items. Clear photos or digital files can be uploaded directly through the online system, or physical copies can be brought to the school office:

• Proof of age: Birth certificate or passport
• Proof of address: Recent utility bill, lease agreement, or mortgage statement
• Immunization records
• Emergency contact information

(Note: Using the free ParentVUE app on a smartphone makes taking and uploading photos of documents fast and easy.)

Key information for families

• Multiple students: Families enrolling or registering multiple children can complete all applications within a single online session before final submission.
• Save and resume: Progress is saved automatically, allowing users to pause and return to their application as needed.
